Draaai Dooor is a publication that is made to give nightlife a helping hand. The pandemic means that we have to keep our distance, be careful and reduce our social contacts. This means almost no relaxation for young people. Besides school and work, young people had the nightlife to let off steam. And this has been dropped since the beginning.
The use of news articles in this publication shows that nightlife is important. Subjects such as loneliness, music and communities have been used and visuals have been designed instead of photos to represent the nightlife. These types of images are used for screens in nightclubs. Throughout the newspaper one visual can be seen, which develops with each article, 'het draait door'.
